ABOUT PIRANHA
Markus Rogenmoser founded the company in 1993. A Swiss precision engineer he was adamant to run a state of the art machine park. To this day they produce world-class finished parts in Steinhausen ZG, Switzerland. With there Headquarters residing in Baar, Zug. The company grew consistently with the years and was renamed in 2015 to Piranha Clamp. That same year Raphael Rogenmoser took over the management of the company in second generation, which he has helped shape and develop for over 15 years.
Piranha's core competence lies in the raw part of machining. Their machine park is always up-to-date with the latest technology. For over 20 years, they have been producing finished parts with Swiss precision.
Tailor-made solutions are their specialty, and they engineer these solutions in close collaboration with their international clients.
As an in house manufacturing company, they have also developed their own machine parts for clamping and cooling. At EMO Milan 2015, they introduced their products, the Piranha Clamp and Piranha CoolingLine, to industry professionals, receiving an overwhelmingly positive response.
Piranha Clamp
In 2015, the company expanded its plant with a new 5-axis machine. However, they found that the market lacked a low-centering vise that could meet all of their specific requirements. As a result, they decided to combine the best features of leading products and developed a superior centering vise.
The Piranha Clamp features a completely new guiding system designed for extreme clamping power. It requires no prior shaping and is the lowest build in the market. This slim construction is crucial for maximizing the workspace for raw parts. The Piranha Clamp is truly one of a kind.
Piranha Cooling Line
Within their precision engineering plant, the company was never satisfied with the standard cooling systems available on the market. Like many others, they experienced tool breakages due to unreliable cooling systems. Over the years, they began to develop their own cooling solution. The result is the patented Piranha CoolingLine, which operates under high pressure and delivers pinpoint precision for a wide variety of applications. Its high-quality design, lightweight structure, and durability are key features. The CoolingLine can be assembled modularly to meet specific needs.
