Description
A drill chuck arbor is designed to adapt a keyless or keyed drill chuck to the spindle taper of a CNC machining centre, conventional milling machine, lathe or drilling machine. One end of the arbor will be the same as the machine spindle and may be ISO, NT, BT, Morse taper or Bridgeport R8. The other end of the arbor allows the drill chuck to be mounted to the arbor and this is most commonly a Jacobs taper with JT6 being most popular. Other tapers include JT3, B16 and some chucks may even have a threaded mount.
