The Dormer A170 13.0mm Reduced Shank Drill is available in a wide range of fractional and metric diameters. Regardless of the cutting diameter, all A170 drills come with a ½ inch parallel shank, which enables drills with a large cutting diameter to be clamped in conventional hand-held power tools.

Made from premium High-Speed Steel, the A170 is suitable for drilling many materials, including Steels, Stainless Steel, and Aluminium. The conventional 118-degree point provides strength and makes regrinding easy.

The drill features a steam oxide finish to prevent workpiece material from sticking to the cutting edge of the tool. The A170 ½ inch parallel shank drill is versatile and can be used in a variety of hand-held and machine applications.
