MICRON ALPHA 1 Machine Coolant

The MICRON ALPHA 1 Machine Coolant is a semi-synthetic cutting fluid that is specially formulated to provide excellent surface finishes on aluminium, steels, alloys and all yellow metals. It is especially suitable for use in hard or very hard water, providing high longevity in use, effective cooling power, high resistance to foreign oils, low drag, high emulsion stability and high-power corrosion inhibitor, without any harmful substances that may adversely affect both health and the environment.

Application:

The MICRON ALPHA 1 Machine Coolant is excellent for manual machining as well as CNC machining and grinding applications.

Its a semi-synthetic cutting fluid that is dispersed in water by adding a minimum of 5% concentration. The ideal concentration is determined based on the complexity of the operation and water hardness:

• Medium hardness: 6%
• Hard water: 8%
• Very hard water (> 400 ppm of CaCO3): about 10%
