VHU125 Boring and Facing Head only.

Vhu – as a boring device – considerably increases the possibilities of boring, drilling and milling machines. These heads are suitable for precision boring of cylindrical holes and for machining of external cylindrical surfaces. The VHU boring head by means of an automatic slide feed makes facing, backfacing and taper machining possible. The slide feed is adjustable in three or four grades and is stopped on an adjustable dog by the pin clutch. The feed is derived from the rotary motion of the head, if one of the feed is derived from the rotary motion of the head, if one of the feed is adjusted, the pin of the clutch is put in and the brake ring is held by means of the stop bar.

The screw (34) serves for quick adjusting of the side and on the contrary the worm with the scale is used for fine adjusting of precision boring. (1DIV= slide movement of 0,05 mm).
