Autowell Double Station Vices
Autowell Double Station Vices are engineered to enhance efficiency and productivity in CNC machining centers by enabling the simultaneous clamping of two workpieces, which may be of the same or different sizes. These vices are equipped with several patented features:
Clamping Force Equalization: This patented feature ensures that equal clamping force is applied to both workpieces, regardless of their size or shape, helping to prevent deflection and lift.
Lockwell Anti-Lift Mechanism: This patented mechanism is designed to prevent the workpiece from lifting or deflecting during the machining process.
Automatically Return Mechanism: Also patented, this mechanism ensures that the movable jaw returns to its original position after unloading and reloading parts, which can help to reduce cycle times
Material and Hardness: The vice body is constructed from strong and ductile iron FCD-60, with a tensile strength of 80,000 PSI. The slide surface is flame-hardened to HS65° to maintain accuracy over time. The S50C jaw-plate undergoes carburizing heat treatment to reach a hardness of HRC54°.
Unique Design: The vice’s design aids in the evacuation of chips, which is beneficial during the machining process.
U.S.A. Patented: The vice has been granted a patent in the United States, signifying its innovative design and features.
The TLD Series Double Station Vice by Autowell is noted for these characteristics and is suitable for various machining settings, including vertical or horizontal machining centers, on machine beds, tombstones, or other fixtures. The high manufacturing tolerance of 0.01mm allows for precise clamping and the use of multiple vices for fixturing long or large-area components.
